The Johannesburg Youth Choir, in collaboration with the Roosevelt High School Choir, proudly hosted a vibrant choir festival that brought together six choirs for an unforgettable evening of music. We were honoured to share the stage with Northcliff Primary School, Jeppe High School for Boys, Jeppe High School for Girls, Northcliff High School, Greenside High School, and of course, our hosts, Roosevelt High School. Each choir presented a unique programme that showcased their talent and spirit, filling the hall with variety and warmth.
The highlight of the evening was the grand finale, where more than 300 voices joined in song and dance, leaving the audience truly moved. Behind the scenes, the hosting choirs managed everything from invitations and ticket sales to logistics and seating, ensuring the evening ran smoothly. Now in its second year at Roosevelt High, this festival continues to grow, fostering not only musical excellence but also lasting friendships between choirs.
